Name That Breed: pale yellow pullet with black flecks

Got my butt kicked on that one recently. Guess I didn’t know brahama hand feathered feet
Got my butt kicked on that one recently. Guess I didn’t know brahama had feathered feet but Columbian wyandottes have naked legs. Probably a rooky mistake. I’m still prepared to say they’re the same birds 😁

I’m watching the breed threads more closely now. It’s interesting stuff.
First of all brahma's don't have hand feathers...or hands for that matter 🤣 second, you are right that this is some interesting stuff. My breed I'm making has a chosen name I made "The Darcy Giant" it's coming out great. Anyways I guess we're just both making rooky mistakes me as we learn, but if you get something wrong finding the answer allows for you to truly remember a learn the best. Also how is your colorations or breeds coming along while we're on that topic.

Also I keep hearing Hoovers is famous for mixing breeds, are they really that bad or am I just not connecting the dots about this?
They're really getting into crossing breeds to make "hybrids" that they can then give interesting names and call them "exclusives" which all makes them seem like something special so then they can charge more.
Mypetchicken was the first hatchery I saw really doing this to an extreme and they made bank doing so.

Holy mother of bantams, I think I found what breed it is. It might be an erminette chicken

Dang, never thought a hatchery would do something that cheeky and weird. Mix breeds that aren't mixed well or to a standard won't go broody and might have problems later in life, or they are completely fine and are overall great birds.

My only issue is when you take two breeds and cross them then turn around and sell those mixed breed chicks for way more then either original breed like they're something super unique.
Example of Mypetchicken's "Favaucanas"

I'm lost for words right now, like what 50 dollors per chick of a hyprid your better of breeding your self. And an example of my problem with mixing bad breeds I'd like mixing a serama and leghorn they are two very different sizes or for example when I saw a jersey giant roo and Livorno hen or warm hardy and cold hardy breeds creating a mix that can't handle either.
