It has more of a cuckoo pattern than a barred pattern, so I could believe cuckoo marans. Legs are a bit yellow for a marans though. The true test will be whether it lays a light brown egg or a dark brown egg.

I'll let ya know when she lays eggs...the teacher who ordered the eggs, said she's a CM...& from the looks of it on Feathersite, she's a CM...Only time will tell...any friendly wagers????

Her lines aren't clean enough to be a BR. And I've had a couple marans with yellow legs, though it doesn't meet standard.
