Cream Legbar and Cochin
Some advice; when looking at crosses, remember to pay attention to comb type. Single combs are recessive to almost all other comb types. So, a rose combed chicken couldn't have two single combed parents, for example. Also, cream legbars are barred (barring is a dominant gene) and none of those cockerels were barred, so could only be second generation cream legbar crosses.

I live in Northern Minnesota and do not plan on heating my coop. All the research I have done says that it is not necessary if you have winter hardy breeds. And can actually be harmful by not letting them acclimate to the weather. I do know that combs can freeze and I do have a couple of Roosters with large combs, I have read that petroleum jelly rubbed on their combs and wattles can help protect them, and also making sure their is no moisture build up in the coop. What are your experience with your chickens and cold weather. This will be my first winter with my chickens. And I have wondered if I should get a infrared heater.
I don’t heat my coop either. And I live in Wisconsin. :)
