Name That Color

Now I'm confused.
I thought light brown leghorns were wildtype. Wildtype being also called duckwing.
And partridge was like partridge rocks, cochins etc. or silver penciled for the silver version.
PS just talking about in the states. I know partridge is different in other places.
Varies from breed to breed what words are used. Genetically, the hen in question would be eb rather than e+.

While waiting for them to hatch I did play around with the calculator, and according that I kept coming up with monochromatic birds. I just didn't know to what plug in for this hen.

I really thought lavendar meant just light grey. Curious that it's a whole separate gene ..

Standard partridge is what you see on Welsummers and Brown Leghorns, with the rosey brown chest on the hens. Wild-type allows patterning through the chest of females.
So you're calling standard partridge eb and that that has salmon breasts in hens and is what lt brown leghorns are?
And that wildtype is e+ and lets pattern through on breast and is not what lt brown leghorns are?
I thought that was backwards.
It brown leghorns are e+ wildtype not eb.
Dark brown leghorns are eb partridge/brown.

Can anyone tell me what color this silkie chick is?
I’m almost positive it’s a silkie because it has dark skin & feathered feet.
Is it partridge?
