Ummm...is this a beard on Charlene? Or is this just normal dried baby fluff? It's dry but looks wet. (Like if she had styled it with hair gel type wet looking)

As far as I know, they don’t go broody and aren’t good layers, but I’ve never owned either breed

Phoenix go broody, and actually lay pretty well when not broody.
