I will take #3, my lucky number! One that note, let's call him Lucky!
@tlcmurphy @GreenJay @Chive @The Welch Chickens come grab an egg!
I would assume if the chicks are light-colored, you'd just pick whatever color marker, for example green, and put a dot on their head, then write down which egg that "green" dot chick came from. You can crayon their little heads? Do tell!
Don’t use Sharpie… just saying…I would assume if the chicks are light-colored, you'd just pick whatever color marker, for example green, and put a dot on their head, then write down which egg that "green" dot chick came from.
I just read about it and never tried it, but I'm not sure how that would work on mine anyway as half the time they're black or brown. I suppose for those I'd have to resort to doing their toes and use light colored markers that I could see but they can't. I honestly have no reason to mark mine though so never tried it. Good luck!![]()
It'd be nice to have more pullets! Imagine if they were all roosters?!I would like to adopt #2 please
Hmmm, assuming you want girl chicks, I'll come back with a girl name
Good luck with the incubating!
Thank you so much for the tag!
