Those sharpies are not non-toxic. Ever smell one? I was talking the Crayola brand which are safe for kids who might even suck on one lol.

Some people do use sharpies with no I'll effects, but they can be toxic just the same. Pencil or crayons are the best writing materials for hatching eggs.

Mine was several months old when I put the “freckle” on her. She’s just fine, thankfully. Would NOT recommend it though!
