    Alright, we purchased this "little" dude/dudette from a local feed store in July. The chicks were listed as "Crested Special".. At first I thought maybe it was a Houdan, but I'm not sure what he/she is?? The little sucker it's growing at ALL. We purchased this one and Welsummer who was a tad older than this one and she is huge compared to him... I'll post pics!! Thanks for your input!

    I'm thinking white crested black Polish.

    but Tophats aren't really my thing.....[​IMG] to see what those folks chime in with.

    Are those small chickens?? This little guy is TINY! Much smaller than our Frizzle Bantams

    Good call. I"d wondered about the white skin, I don't think Polish have those. And Polish are more large fowl size--smallish, but not this tiny.
