There's been a bit on the news about a poor college kid in the States being ambushed on Twitter because his name is Alan Joyce... he sure took the mistake better than the real Alan Joyce would've

I named my daughter DevronErin Lynne. It's sad that I managed to misspelled it on the birth certificate. It should have been spelled DevrynEryn pronounced Dev-rine Arron. She totally fits her name. We have always called her Erin in the family. I got in trouble with DH's grand-dad. Grand-dad was an off the plane immigrate from England, and he was prejudice against the Irish. Ooopps! I told him we weren't prejudice, and that was her name.

Grand-dad wanted us to name her after his sister that died in 1918. She died from the Spanish Influenza. Her name was Olive. I just could have named one of my kids Olive, I might have been willing to name her Olivia had I known how much he cared about her name.

Our first son was named Tyler, but only later did I learn that he should have been named Hawthorn.

We decided to not have anymore children after we lost our second daughter Kaitlyn Shea, but I named the rest of the children that we chose not to have.

My mother's name is Nada Lynne. Nada is pronounced with a long a. Like Neigh-da the last a is pronounced like ah. When she was a kid they always used both her first and middle name. It wasn't until she came to the West Coast that it got shortened to just Nada.

My grandmother was Norah Kathrine. I believe that she had a sister named Valley Manilla.

My mother's people were from West Virginia.
