Naming Certain Names For Reasons

I named Peep (my mascot and username donor) after a kids show, Peep and the Big Wide World, cuz I LOVE that show. XD

Let's see.... Oh I could do this all night. :lau

We had Babs and Bunty at one point... Chicken Run. :P
And Frosty the Brahma - whom I rewrote a song for. :cool:
Aaaand.... Platypus.
Now Platy-fatty has white the story behind her name.... XD
Bbl to tell y'all her story. :lol:

I misread your thread and thought you wanted names of male and female explorers, so I started thinking about famous pairs of explorers. I got Indiana and Marion (Raiders of the lost Ark), Luke and Leia (Star Wars. Duh...) and Jack and Sam (Stargate SG1) before I realized I was mistaken. :lau
Still think they're good names for a couple of chickens, though!

I WANNA SEE STARGATE SO BAD

I have a lavender Ameraucana named Periwinkle. Chose that name because it is a purple / blue color like the chick was.

I also have a roo who used to be named Maisey. Once I realized that Maisey was a roo I renamed him to Dexter. Why Dexter? Because he is a ginger and Dexter (as in the HBO series Dexter) was the only famous ginger male I could think of off the top of my head at the time.

I haven't seen it,

Yet. >=]
Richard Dean Anderson stars in it, right?

Ah! Yep, he plays Colonel Jack O'Neill. He's funny! Stargate's my favorite show, and luckily I have everything on DVD. As I understand it, it's getting increasingly difficult to find places to watch it. Netflix don't have it anymore, and I doubt any TV-channels sends it anymore. :confused: But if you find it somewhere, I very much recommend it!

Periwinkle is a really pretty name!
Dexter's fun too! Just make sure he doesn't go off killing any of the others. :O
