My slice of heaven in Somerset, CA
Wasn't sure if "naming" chicks belonged here or over in Managing Your Flock, but since they're chicks and I know more folks would probably be parked in Raising Baby Chicks, I figgered I'd post here.

Given that I've got two Silver Sebright roos about 12 weeks old, I'm pretty sure my 8 week old Silver and Golden Sebrights are pullets.

How does "Gilda" for the EE and "Joy" for the Golden Sebright sound??

And "Delilah" for the Delaware, and "Amy" for the Silver Sebright?

(Short, 3-letter names for the bantams, I thought would be good, this go-round.)

... and right now, my EE GrandChick will be "Sam." Could be Samuel or Samantha.

Any other suggestions or comments?

hehe

They are so cute! I would name the white one Pepper. Or Speckle. But I have a different taste in names....LOL.

I like Delilah, that's really cute!!

l like your names. I need help naming mine. We have the collective "big girls" & " little girls." My kids aren't much help. My 3 yr old says they should be named Olivia 1, Olivia 2, Olivia 3, etc, and Baabee (not Bobbie) 1, Baabee 2, etc.

Maybe I'll create my own post & see if anyone has suggestions.
