Several months ago I bought a pile of Narragansett turkey babies and now they're getting their adult plumage.
What is the desired color? Darker or lighter? I have a couple of birds coming in lighter than the others. The girls are all identical, the boys have some variations and I have 6 to choose from for next year's breeding honors.
Looking to carry forward 2 of the boys. Was thinking on doing one lighter and one darker if the color isn't that big of a deal, pulling from the bigger ones with the best structure.
I'm pretty happy with where I've gotten our Bourbon Red color! I'm on the 3rd generation with them now.
