I have two Narragansett poults. About 5 or 6 weeks.
Could I add a Royal Palm to the brooder and ultimately live with them into adulthood... or not good to mix breeds?

They are all the same breed - Turkey. They are just 2 different color varieties. The only reason to not mix color varieties is if you are planning on breeding them and want to raise pure varieties.

I have noticed that the different color varieties do prefer members of their own color variety up until breeding season.

Agree with other poster, its like asking can white people live with asian people or can a German shepherd live with a golden retriever, the answer is yes. In fact i had two baby turkeys and to baby chicks been living with each other since 4 weeks, they're 3 months old now and are best friend. Again if left alone as adults you will get some colorful babies :)
