nasty rooster

I disagree with "a mean rooster= a good rooster" I've had plenty of aggressive roosters, and none of them ever compared to not only the sweetest chicken I've ever owned, but the best rooster I've ever owned. I've never had a cock more protective and caring about his hens than him. The ones that were aggressive towards me were also overly aggressive with the hens and did not watch over them in the slightest. Yet, my wonderful, affectionate roo loved his hens and cared for them until the very end.

My Rooster has enough spine to do EXACTLY his job, Believe it or not :DD

And he doesnt attack humans! As been said countless times before, most of our roosters are smart enough not to attack humans and do just as good as a rooster with no boundries, if not better.

i would have added a "Believe it or not" In there somewhere, but it has become clear you are one sided and refuse to believe anything rather then what you say.

A roster that does not attack humans does not mean it's spineless, I seriously cannot see what is so hard to understand.

And I was not saying life is like the Disney cartoon- You said it wouldn't happen that a dog could lead a wolf pack, and I took the realistic side AS AN EXAMPLE To make and effort to explain things through a Disney "classic"

Not to mention Balto is a real dog, not a fable

Everyone has opinions based on their experiences and you should respect their opinion even when you disagree. Personally I won't tolerate a mean to humans rooster because my grandchildren enjoy being with my chickens, which was one of the reasons I got them.
