I woke up this morning and went to check on ‘my babies’ and noticed number 3 had already hatched <3

And when i came back home from work, number 4 joined the others..boy! These little ones are fast!

Yay! Congratulations! Is that all of them or are there more to hatch?

Yeah, well, i had 11 but when i candled them on day7, there were 6 of them who didn’t make it/not fertile.
I do have more eggs tho, but i’m not sure whether i should hatch them or not..also has to do with lack of space at our home

Oh, yea I hear ya! I have plenty of space and feel like I have too many... I am up to 17 now.. to me.. that’s a lot!
Last year I got my flock of eight babies and then in March this year I got three new ones.. then four weeks after that I got four Cochin bantam babies for my broody Silkie to raise... and two weeks ago just got three new EEs... so ten more just this year ... and I just gave one of my older gals to my neighbor.. so 17

Aww i’m so excited! Lizzy, our guinea fowl girl, laid her very first egg today!
I’m so proud hehe!
She hid it in the corner of the big coop.
