National Young Bird Show in Louisville Ky

I took a lot of pics as well. Just don't know how to upload them from my camera to my phone to here!

I bought some tipplers and some damascenes. I didn't show this year but the guy I rode up with won several color awards and reserve champion for his fantails. Had to listen to that for the 12 hour ride home! Haha!

Had a good time...met a lot of good folks and a lot that I don't care to meet again.

Looking foreward to going again next year!

Here are just a few of the many breeds shown at the Louisville show. The "common" pigeon has come a long way.

Here are two very rare colors in the pigeon world. Both show at the louisville show 2010.The first I am not for sure the breed, the second is a parlor roller.
Its not really the color that is so rare as it is the combination of colors. White-Black_ and some other color makes a Mosaic! All three colors must be clear with no blending.
The parlor is an exceptional yellow and white mottle and then sports a black tail!. This bird also won the "roll" competion at the show with a roll of 219.9 feet!

I also raise rollers, a few homers, and fantails. I plan on getting back to mookees and maybe some show rollers.

I do not currently have any chickens but I have a coop. Just need chickens to put in it! Just haven't found anything I have a fancy for, and there's not a lot available in my area.

Yes when we left louisville we headed south on 65 to nashville then caught 40 home. I'm sure we did pass you pretty close!

I frequently look in on the okie thread but never say anything. I'm just a lurker! Never have anything to add that someone else hasn't already said!

Wish I coulda gone, but it's a twelve hour flight there from Oregon. Was that at the Covention center at the fairgrounds?

Cameron, where on earth did you find tipplers? I only saw a pair in the entire show (75.00/pair). They ended up selling Saturday, did you buy them?

GHulst, this is Tim Stone. You wouldn't happen to remember what breed of pigeon it was that I showed you, would you? If not, I can try to get a pic up of him.
