Natural Remedies...

GREAT!! I'm so glad. Today I added a couple of raw eggs in with it. Craziness again!! Like the post above I questioned the salt my self.??... The only ingredient I cook in mine is the oatmeal. I put all the other ingredients in the blender and mix it to the warm cooked oats. I'm going to juice some carrots next time and see if they will deworm themselves. If I can help it I NEVER want to use chems. again!!!

It is not in feedstores. Food Grade ONLY should be used, about 1% silicon dioxide as opposed to pool filter grade, which is about 85% silicon. Custom Milling is one supplier in the eastern United States. They have a dealer locator on the site. Word of warning about these dealers-most dont know they can get DE on their next truckload. You have to tell them. Custom Milling sells Perma Guard, which is excellent. I'm out and have to get the local guy to get me some more.

Hello folks,
I know most of these posts stopped months ago but just thought I would do some sharing. Maybe someone will find this helpful!!!
I had a few chickens that were sneezing, wheezing, and not eating much. Then that turned into 5 chickens with symptoms. All of my chickens had complete recovery!!!! This is what::
1) I did I added Apple Cider Vinegar(ACV) to there water every other day and vitamin suppliment on off days.
2) I changed their bedding in their coop from hay to wood shavings(could of been part of the problem)
3) I fed them these foods spread out not all on the same days
cooked oatmeal, with chopped fruit with Tumeric and ginger mixed in, blueberries, sunflower seeds, cheap canned tuna, and other fancy foods.
4)I also put colloidal silver in there water a couple times a week, this is an antibacterial that is non toxic to humans.

good luck:Djavascript:insert_text('

Grandma's blood in poop recipe:

Oregano tea to treat cocci
1 tablespoon of herb per cup of water
ran through a coffee maker and filter
Give a small amount once per day

This was my own addition:
If the chick isn't eating I feed "Carnation Instant Breakfast" either vanilla or Strawberry with buttermilk mixed into a paste. It contains a lot of vitamins.

Do not use as a preventative, as treatment.
