This is one of the most beautiful nature pictures I have seen; I saw it in the Birds and Blooms Magazine.
I love how the droplets reflect the flowers; it is gorgeous!

Just read where there was a high chance for a solar storm today due to a massive increase in sunspots. That last time I photographed the sun, there was very little activity. Well, I went outside a few minutes ago and they weren't kidding. That's a lot of sunspots...

I monitor this site for solar activity. Particularly for aurora chances. Has to be a major G3 or G4 storm to get them down south enough to see here though

The sunset from our home Halloween this year.

Had clear skies and no moon last night. I was finally able to shoot the flame and horsehead nebula again. This is a stack of 81 60 second exposures. Next time I am going to try and get 3 hours of exposure time to really bring out the finer details....

Here is a couple I shot in Oct. This is the Pleiades star cluster (commonly called the seven sisters)....

And this was another try at the Orion Nebula....
