NatureWise Feather Fixer pellet- anyone using?

I have a wild bird feeder hanging from a post close to my run. The chickens love to go eat up the seeds thrown out of the feeder by the birds. Is there a danger of mites from the wild birds that hang off the feeder? Should I spray the ground around that area with something?
I would keep the chickens away from the bird feeder, they can catch disease from birds. I would not spray poison under the bird feeder, could sicken or kill the chickens or birds.
I feed feather fixer as sole ration sense 18 weeks to my 29 week old girls. Says on bag you can feed year round. GC

Hi all,
The NatureWise Feather Fixer with Mite-Fighter is now listed on our website, you can learn about it at www.featherfixer.com
The ingredient that fights mites is natural, non-drug and non-chemical. It acts in the feces as it is passed through the chicken to deter mites from congregating in the vent area. It has no impact on eggs or meat and as a side benefit it actually helps reduce the ammonia odor in the feces. SunandDirt, so glad you are liking the feed. We are pretty excited about it!

. Wondering if there's an Organic option for this, as I only feed my chickens 100% Organic?

Sorry i know this is an old thread
I too do Organic and would love to be able to feed an All Flock or Feather Fixer. Instead I feed a Broiler organic that is higher in Protein but I have oyster on the side.
