I'd never be able to watch all these shows if it weren't for our DVR. I can record one show in the bedroom while I watch a different show in the living room. If I'm really desperate and there are three shows on at once, and I want to watch them all I can record two upstairs and watch the third in the basement. I remember being a kid and wishing there were a way to pause and record tv shows. The world can't be all that bad if little dreams like that can come true...right?

I am still annoyed that CBS cancelled Moonlight. My all-time favorite show would have to be Gilmore Girls. I own all 7 seasons on DVD.

Yeah I love the DVR's. We went a year without any tv, only movies. So when I finally got the satelite installed it came with the two room DVR, and I decided to have a regular receiver installed in the basement. We use the tv downstairs mostly for company but I do go down there to hide from the world once in a while. It's kind of my little oasis down there.
