Nearsighted chick?

Also a thing i discovered, she can certainly see shadows in bright light but she can’t identify what it is. She gets startled if anything hovers over her in her brooder (ex: my hand) she will run around aimlessly. Even though she usually run to my hand for pets once she realize what it is. I try to approach her slowly from the side to not startle startle her. She gets scared by any fast moving thing. Also, when i move my hand towards her she panicks but calms down once I'm close enough.
