NEAS Meet-up's Westford ma (buy sell swap)11/4 see post #1090

Well it was a good turnout today! Lots of nice variety. Am I the only person that brings a rooster to get rid of and comes home with another rooster?
I got,a few diamond doves to add to the aviary, sorry I missed out on yours Tony! Also got,a few society finches to foster my Gouldians eggs too seeing as the Gouldians like to toss the babies once they hatch! Going to be interesting to see what the Buy/Sell outcome is going to be, lots of talk on that today :/

Tom has a lot of new birds to catch. One guy lost 2 orange finches, another guy lost a red golden.I have plenty more diamond doves if you need them.I did sell the 2 pair I brought and an amherst male,so it wasn't a total bust.Onto Deerfield next sun.I'll have the amherst, silvers, eliots, yellow goldens, and impeyans for pheasants,Plus 2 pair of diamond doves and I may bring a few cockatiels.
I felt like the 3 stooges catching birds at 5;30 am.I stepped in their water container, then try to avoid tipping it over and smashed my head into the perch.Thank god I shaved my hair off so I wouldn't have any cushion on top.Seems like theres always a scar in that same spot from smashing my head numerous times.
Then I got home and forgot to buy seed from Denise, now I have to pay mega bucks at Wally world to feed the doves and tiels this month.See you in Deerfield.
In N.H.,Tony.

it was good seeing every one today, i didnt get to walk around to see what was for sale, but it was great turnout, lots of peaple, i sold a few cages a pair of love birds, and a pair of hollands, bought some cute silkies and guineas and got an adorible pigion.

Darn, sounds like it was good day. I wish it hadn't fallen on a long weekend when we always go away. I have a lot of Faverolles pullets that need to go! Anyone interested in some 4-6 month old Fav pullets let me know soon.
