NEAS Meet-up's Westford ma (buy sell swap)11/4 see post #1090

I was at the westford avricultural meeting today, and Al the president showed me postings from this site.Someone had asked him the dates of the chickens swaps. And he replied as being president of this club that this is not a chicken swap,it's an avricultural meeting. The reponder replied that he was very rude and ingornant and if the people there were like that, that they didn't want to have any part of the meeting.
Al is a very straight forward guy and one of the best people you could meet.He has done alot for our hobby and felt this person is getting the wrong impression of him.If you choose not to attend these meetings,it is your lose as they are fun and you meet a lot of people with the same interest as you have.
Please change the heading to this thread to westford,ma avricultural meeting and give it its proper name. This club has been in existance since 1974 and has earned the right to be called it's proper name.

sorry tony this is my fault as i was the one to start the thread way back when and when i got banned shay was kind enough to start it using my words. i am sure she wont mind changing the wording.

What an awesome Avicultural swap and sale today! I got me some really nice chickens, a pair of diamond doves, and could have bought more had I remembered to save some extra money! I always love this event due to the fact the people are always so nice and fun to be around. Also because of the GREAT variety of what is available. With the weather getting nicer, the selection should even become more varied. The auction items and animals today was the best I have seen in a while here too! See you all next month!

dont know how i should i take the way you say that to me
but i will be happy yo change the heading

It's the Northeastern Avicultural Society.

It was very busy today. I managed to sell my 3 roosters even though we were parked far away from most of the sellers. Got to get my "helpers" moving earlier so we can arrive at 8 instead of 8:30!

I attended the Westford get together last fall and met Al. I was very impressed. He was thoughtful, welcoming and informative. It was my first visit and he helped to make the drive memorable. Sorry I couldn't get there today due to other obligations. Looking forward to next month.
