Great idea! Love the stacking! I can't tell from the pic - can the chicks touch the light bulb?

I left off the wire mesh covers for the pic, but have them to protect the chicks. You can mount the light farther to one side to give more room, but hubby already did it before I could say otherwise, so I didn't say anything. I am using 25 watt bulbs until i can find something a little less. I can put older chicks in the bottom with out even using a light.

A refrigerator bulb would work. I think its a 7 watt bulb. You can get 5 to 10 watt bulbs at places like Home Depot or Lowes.
I agree with everyone else though, 25 watts is too hot for the space you have.
