The eggs in my incubator came from Dixon also! I am currently listening to the little chicks hatch. How did yours turn out?
My babies are FANTASTIC!!!! We got 11 babies, all colors of d'uccles, birchen cochins and one cute white capped black polish. What kind of babies did you get? Pics?
Welcome to BYC! I'm up in the Northeast corner!Red Willow County
I'm up closer to Yankton SD, and we actually had a few snowflakes in September. The weather has been nuts, nonstop rain since.... feels like forever haha! Coyotes are moving in like crazy though, there were probably six outside about an hour ago fighting with my dogs, they chased them off north thankfully. I'm wondering if we are in for a rough winter...... even my goats are growing a thick coat already.Everyone in eastern Ne ready to grow gills? I know I am. I'm NOT ready for colder weather at all. I don't want it.
I am SICK of wet and wet and more wet.
Wet livestock, wet barn, wet runs, wet socks and shoes. Looking at 5+ inches the next few days, but thank goodness it's not snow...!
