! What breeds do you raise?

First time fowler. I'm expecting barred rocks and easter eggers for layers. And cayuga and peking ducks just for fun. Arriving in March and April.

We have some barred rocks coming next month too, and really like our Easter eggers, they can be more flighty but pretty birds and eggs! We have not ventured into Ducks they sound fun but splashy!

Weather has been awesome in Eastern Nebraska lately!!! Took down the plastic sheeting from the run yesterday, the trapped bees thanked me.


If anybody near the Omaha area is interested in a bold but people friendly bantam Black Mottled Cochin rooster let me know. We have one that was born February 2nd, 2015. We would LOVE to keep him but already have two roos.

Hi I'm new here I live in the southwest corner of Nebraska. Just got some chickens and a chicken house for my birthday. Cant wait to get those babies out side. Run building this weekend.

Hi I live in a small town called Bancroft NE

I like those big ones, I have some huge old splash and blue orps, but my sister prefers bantams. I love the showgirls tho, they are so cute. Here is the little girl I brought in to clean the poopbslls of her feet, I gave her s bath so haven't put her back out. She is surprisingly hardy tho.
Had her in bathroom, she usually has been roosting on a towel but went in last night and was surprised to see this!

You have beautiful bird! I would put her in there when you have quests see how long it takes them to realize she is real!!
