Hello from Litchfield (south central NE) I’m so excited, I’m getting chicks from Dixon NE in a couple of weeks!! Getting Mille Fleur d’uccles, black Cochin bantams and birchen Cochin bantams!! Next time I get chicks I want creme legbars!!! Anyone have creme legbars?

Hello from Southeast of Lincoln! We are new to chickens and are working on our coop. We have 8 chicks @ 3-4 weeks old in a plastic tub in the house. I was taking them outside during the day but that stopped Friday with the snow.

Nope. Dont have them. Thats a photo from the zoo. But yes, I love them. Too screamy for here though. On a good day you can hear my roosters almost 2 miles away. Peacocks would deafen the whole valley!

The eggs in my incubator came from Dixon also! I am currently listening to the little chicks hatch. How did yours turn out?

Speaking of wandering fowl... did I tell you, I am GUINEA FREE! I liked them, but they were "one more thing" too many. They wandered a half mile radius around our place.

Well, sort of guinea free. We found about 2 dozen guinea eggs in a nest tonight. And my chicks are hatching. What should I do with the eggs?!?!
