I have one chick, a salmon faverolle, who I have in isolation right now. She's eating, drinking, and her poo looks normal. She keeps stretching her neck out as far as it will go, and then her neck starts to twitch in different directions. I'm not sure is she's sick or if there's just something wrong with her neck. She did throw up some mucos this morning when I was trying to get her to drink. I'd love some advice.

Thanks, Sonja

I have a BLRW hen that goes through the same thing, and I notice it happens when she mows down food. I haven't done anything about it because it doesn't seem to hinder her at all.

Thank you sooooo much for responding!! This little one does it after she eats and when she get tired. She's eating, sleeping, and pooing like a normal chick, so I know she's not sick. It's just kinda creppy to watch. I feel better now about her.

Sonja
