Thanks all. This has all got me thinking for sure.

I've never taken them off layer for molting, that's a good plan for the future. Never thought about it.

She had many water sources, so for her, that wasn't the issue.

I feed organic so there aren't a lot of choices as far as flock raiser. I like the idea of flock raiser with free oyster shell.
