Need a farm logo...will trade for hatching eggs! - WINNER ANNOUNCED!!!

Can I ask you how you got your farm name?....I mean did you register one or do you just say, "Hey, this is my new farm name." ???

My daughters and I want one, and a logo, but I have no idea how to make it official.

It's not registered or certified or anything like that.....I don't know if it needs to be, as the business I do is on a very small scale, and it's not my main income. I bet someone in the "Local Chicken Laws..." section would know better than me, but it's always been my undestanding that if your primary income is not from your farm, it's a much more casual thing. Plus, my farm name is actually just a description of my home...we have acres, and my last name is Adamson.

Hi, folks - just wanted to let you all know that I'm still waiting for one submission...this person asked some specific questions and needed more info. before submitting her design. Just didn't want you to think I was putting off making a decision, although it's going to be a VERY hard decision! There's lots of talent here on BYC!

Okay folks, I'm so sorry it took me awhile to make a final decision. I can say honestly that it was a VERY hard decision for me and my DH.

A BIG "THANK YOU!!!!" to EVERYONE that participated; you all came through with designs that were pretty, practical, and IMO, memorable to someone looking at it who had never seen it before. You all brought your personalities to the table, and there were things about each and every design that I absolutely LOVED!

Also, a special "thank you!" to those of you who went so over and above...I had several folks e-mailing me design after design, tweaking it with my feedback, suggesting changes that worked better than the changes I asked for...you guys are all so talented, and I'm so very glad you found my thread and participated!

Anyway, I could go on & on about how great all the designs were, but here's the design that we thought best represented the message we wanted to get across, plus had a bit of a quirky edge to it...just like me! Congratulations to Kevin, "OverEZ" on BYC (I'll PM you with details on the hatching eggs, Kevin):

Kevin was awesome to work with...he seemed to know what I wanted when I just had an inkling of an idea. He was professional, fast, brought good suggestions, and incorporated what I wanted when it somehow seemed like there was no way to do it. I highly recommend Kevin as someone to work with if you are looking for a farm or other type of logo!

Honorable mention for design goes to Debbie "mschickychick" on BYC. I can honestly say the same things of her as I can for Kevin. Her design is completely different, and my DH and I actually had a few disagreements as we were choosing the final design. In the end, we felt that Kevin's design more closely signified hatching eggs, which was our main goal with this logo. Both designs were awesome, and Debbie's a really neat lady to work with (I enjoyed getting to know you, Debbie!). Here's Debbie's final submission:

I also have to say I REALLY liked StrawberryHouseMouse's design of the horse silhouette with the rooster crowing.

Again, thank you ALL so very much - I know I've said it already, but I can't stress enough that I really enjoyed working with you all, and ALL the designs had elements in each that I absolutely loved!
