How long should I wait???

When do you experienced hatchers call it quits on the remaining eggs? I know still-air have hot/cold spots. I set at 8pm on the 1st, so today is day 21. All except 2 of the hatched did it yesterday. (Does hatching early mean it was too hot?) Anyway, what do you think?

Mixed feelings on this experience. Love my 14 beauties, tormented by my cripple, horrified by the 2 that died, dismayed at what to do with the remaining eggs!

My line-up:
32 set on the 1st
2 set on the 2nd

1 infertile
1 quitter
32 remaining
______________

1 pipping (I think it's dead now)
14 hatched healthy
1 crippled (deformed feet/toes)
2 dead
14 no action

I take the chicks out and let the bator run a couple extra days with the unhatched eggs. If you are thinking of calling it quits. put the eggs to your ear. do you hear tapping or peeping? if not candle. if nothing is moving, open the egg or just toss it.

To see if I can hear it peeping or see movement.
Like Janet said, take out the ones that have hatched and dried and leave the others for an extra day or two or candle to see if they have gone through the air sack yet.
While you have it out listen and smell it. If it stinks toss it.
