To start, this website I am supposedly venturing towards is for our little farm.

Sadly, I am about as computer/web savvy as my grandmother and on my own I am not getting very far.
At this point in time, I am just trying to find a free website hosting-thingy (<- Getting all technical over here) that is fairly easy to navigate and that people actually use. There are so many out there, I can't tell which is which or where to begin!

If you have one you like/ that you use/ that is built for web-novices, I would love to get some suggestions!

Thanks, :p

Go with Blogger.com or Google Sites. Both are ad-free and easy to use, especially Blogger. Both are hosted by the mighty and reliable Google, so they hardly ever go down.

I am looking at the Google one right now, actually looks fairly simple.

Webs.com doesn't look too shabby either!
Thanks again, everyone! I'll post again when or if I actually get it up and running,

I would recommend webs.com, personally. They have the most "realistic" website addresses like "thisismyfarm.webs.com" Whatever you go, avoid GoDaddy. I had a GoDaddy domain and e-mail account, and it was CONSTANTLY being hacked or going down. Tech Support was useless. They pulled the "I dunno" A LOT.

I ended up paying for our current one through Homestead, and I love it! It is SO easy to use, and there are several add-ons (purchased) that make things so much easier. Our website is http://www.thistleridgefarm.com I haven't had a lot of time to really invest in it, but it gives some basic information, some history on us, a small storefront, and plenty of ways to contact us (Facebook, e-mail, blog, etc.)
