The doors already overlap the entrance, so I will just use those doors and turn them upside down from the inside of the coop. I am also going to add a lip from the inside to keep shavings inside- so a spring loaded hook on the door and eye bolts above and below should work to secure the door open during the day and closed at night. We do have to secure it at night; our run is not covered and we have coons, opossum, fox, coyotes, owls, fishers and weasels.
