There is one guaranteed way to not hatch roosters ... don't hatch eggs!
This is going to sound mean and cold, but I don't mean it that way at all, but people who don't have an adequate - and humane - way to deal with extra roosters have no business hatching eggs.
I feel the same way about breeding pets for profit .. Every (puppy, kitten, horse, rabbit ... insert animal breed here) you bring into the world takes a home away from one that is already here. Breed ... and hatch ... compassionately! And when it comes to pets ... Adopt, Don't Shop!

I had a kindergartner tell me, with great authority, I might add, that "The pink eggs are girls and the blue eggs are boys." When I asked what the brown egg would be, he only hesitated a little bit before saying, "A pony!"

The only option I can think of to avoid raising roosters is to hatch breeds that can be sexed as soon as they hatch. Then do what the hatcheries do.... kill the males.

It sounds good in theory but I have never been able to kill those cute little chicks even when I know they are male after they have struggled to get out of the egg and survive.
Plus the fact that I LIKE ROOSTERS! I know I can't keep all of them but I usually have 6 to 8 of them around here all the time. The problem becomes who to keep and who goes to the freezer. It would be so much easier to decide if I was hungry.

The only other option I can think of is to go with an auto-sexing breed and find a hatching partner - BEFORE you start up the incubator/broody - who is willing to take the males as meat birds.
