Need advice for off balance goose. URGENT

I'm a brand new gosling mom. Egbert is 3 days old this am. I helped him hatch because I thought he was stuck. 24 hours went buy since he piped. When I took the shell off there was blood and I probably should of stopped. My other hatchling never pipped and died. Egbert seemed okay. I used a syringe to give him water and diluted chicken feed the first day ( it was medicated). The second night I read about greens and gave him some of that. The next morning my husband said he ate all the greens and none of the feed. His house was a big storage container with shavings at first and then I read it should be chicken wire. I took him outside for about 20min on day 2 and he did fine. He wasalways wobbling and falling but got back up. Day 3 he keep falling over on his back and can't turn over. I put him in a big shoe box and he seems to be able to get up better but he still gets stuck. He has a stuffed possum for company and seems to lean on it instead of sitting down. Poor little tyke gets so tired he falls asleep on the possum and falls over. Is this normal for a newborn.

We have changed our food, and supplemented niacin in the water, and pippen is up and about and looking much improved! THANK YOU ALL :)

My goose seems to have this same problem. I have several different types of B vitamins, but not B3, is B1, B12, or B6 OK instead?
I'd get the niacin as quick as you can. haven't heard of giving the others before. But once you start the niacin or Brewers yeast, they bounce back pretty fast. be sure to only get plain niacin 100-150 mgs to 1gallon of water.Brewers yeast not baking yeast can be sprinkled on their feed. 1 tab per cup of feed. Hope you see a turn around soon. ps. do you have any green peas? RURU was telling someone to thaw and mash and feed them till getting the niacin.

Thanks for the replay! It looks like one of my friends has some B3 after all. I will try giving him some of this in his water and hopefully he will bounce back! Should it stay dissolved in the water(will I need to stir it a lot?)?

If tablet crush as good as you can and stir into warm water it will help to dissolve it if capsule then stirring for a few minutes should dissolve it good enough, .

i just crushed a tablet and sprinkled it in the water, it floated on top and he drank it right up. I also bought an improved food. And lots of peas, but my goose would'nt eat them
