I realize this thread may be old but I have a pullet who sustained an a jury and does have an open sore . I am treating with antibacterial and antifungal spray I got from the vet, and she's moving and acting normal... except for the greenish look to her face. She was being bullied and once I saw blood I pulled her and she's recuperating on her own and seems to be ok ... other than the green skin. Is this an indication that her wouND may be worse than I thought (not just superficial?) Or do I chalk it up to bruising being that she was being harassed by the bigger girls (not sure why she was singled out but that's another topic) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
