Need advice/help/experiences,Pekin female cough/voice changes now

I had to laugh, do you also have to drape a white towel over your arm when serving it it them in their lil dish?
Actually I have an antique pastry plate (the only one left out of a collection I once had) that is hand painted that I use. If formal service would help any of them in any way to be healthier I would, of course, go all out....as would you I know. Crystal, silver flatware, chandeliers, the whole bit...maybe even a violinist playing in the background.

And a singer singing O So lo me o [spelled wrong] but you get my drift.

We had success with 1 Muscovy who was coughing. Added a splash of apple cider to drinking water and it cleared up. We always add a little to drinking water now.

I do too can't say enough good things about ACV

Welcome to BYC!!

Can I add ACV to her water though during treatment with antibiotics?

Ok so its been a week on Doxycycline. No improvement in coughing, her bouts of coughing scare me because itll be 7 coughs in a row. Poor things lungs probably hurt :(
I have been researching on Denagard. Wondering maybe I should order this and give it a shot. If her cough was slowing down then I would just continue doxycycline but its not clearing it up,maybe its to early to tell on it but she is on a high dose of 300mg a day and should have kicked it some. Anyone familiar with Denagard?

Be extremely careful with the continued use of antibiotics. After a while there is always the risk of a superinfection:

"Superinfection is the process by which a cell that has previously been infected by one virus gets co-infected with a different strain of the virus, or another virus, at a later point in time.[2] Viral superinfections may be resistant to the antiviral drug or drugs that were being used to treat the original infection. Viral superinfections may also be less susceptible to the host's immune response."

So, at this point I would strongly suggest that you consult with a second vet about any additional medication for the treatment of your bird. If there is not an avian vet in your area call around and find someone with at least some knowledge about bird diseases.

As for ACV use while on medication I am not aware of any conflict between ACV and antibiotic use...but I am not a vet or a chemist so you might want to ask someone who knows.

I wouldn't mix the ACV and antibiotic in the same bowl but if your giving her her antibiotic by mouth then put the ACV in her drinking water.

Ok so a night ago I honestly thought she wasnt gonna make it, she was panting and breathing heavy. Her lungs sounded full of fluid.. She wouldnt take her medicine either. Well she made it thru and yesterday I went and bought Denagard from a farm store a hour 30 mins away. I came back and she was doing much better then when I had left. Wasn't panting and couldn't hear so much gurgling in her lungs.
The doxycycline has been stopped now for 48hrs. She wasnt getting any better on it,in fact it seemed like it made her worse. And then I started researching and came across Denagard and read good stories. So I am now planning to use that.
My vet called and said maybe this is a fungal problem and that maybe we should try a antifungal.
My question is, how can you differinate fungal respiratory from MG or bacteria respiratory?
Her symptoms are, weight loss(but eats) alot of coughing, Wheezing/congestion/ or fluid in lungs, slight swollen sinus, shivers at times.

I dont know which way to go, Denagard? Antifungal? continue Doxycycline?
I have been misting with Oxine Ah already.. I hope someone can help me
