Need advice on Canda geese!!!

Im in canada but here you need permits alot of people own them without and often times nonthing ever comes of it law wise unless someone complains im assuming its the same in the Usa you best check with your nearest wildlife office. I have had canada geese on and off for years and never owned a permit but that doesnt mean its legal. The guy trying to sell you yours was in other words saying aslong as you dont say anything to much or try to sell them there wont be a issue of you owning them. Im not here to judge if thats right or wrong but thats how it is.
