Hello,

I am currently looking for an icubator. Would love to have a cabinet one, but since they are kinda pricey they are way too big for me. I am wanting to be able to have about 80 eggs in the incubator at a time. Is there an incubator that holds maybe up to 100 chicken eggs that is affordable? I have looked online and this kind here

http://www.amazon.com/WOOKRAYS-Incu...d=1441677109&sr=8-1&keywords=incubator+96+egg

seems to be the only one coming up that is able to hold the amount of eggs I am looking at. I have looked here at the backyardchicken site and have not foudn any reviews for this kind of incubator.Maybe someone in the forum here has used it and can help me with my desision to buy or not to buy.

I really would like to avoid having to run two styrofoam incubators at the same time.

Thanks a lot
Monika

have you looked into building your own? some diy cabinet incubators are pretty reliable.

My only thought with the product you linked to is, would you need to have a separate hatcher? I'm not sure the chicks could hatch in there.

Don't you think I could take the egg turners out when it is time to hatch like you do with the styrofoam incubators?

Don't know if I am adventurous enough to try built one myself.

I'd hope so, but it's something I'd want to confirm before purchasing.

There are some great threads about building larger incubators. Users Sally Sunshine and DMRippy come to mind right off, those ladies both built for volume on the cheap.
