NEED ADVICE ON IVERMECTIN USE

Hi. A friend gave me some ivermectin for my chickens. Brand name Iver - on. It is a pour on ivermectin for cattle. It contains 5 mg ivermectin per ml. Please advise on its use, how much and how often. Also, does it protect against internal parasites in addition to external? I saw one post on here that said it does not help with internal. I would like some advice before using.
