need advice on my cage setup

Thanks for the replies..I went with a 3 to 1 ratio instead. They are getting settled into their new digs today.

First egg from my 6 week old cots. I have 5 females but i guess ones happier than the rest.

X2 1 roo to 5 to 7 hens is a good ratio. 1 roo with 2 hens and he WILL end up killing them with over breeding.

This is great info. I will have two breeder cages, hopefully get around 100 eggs every 10 or so days, two incubators... you can do the math. I like the high hen to roo ratio. no free loading roos.
