I got some Blue/black Orpingtons from a few different sources this year. I had 4 processed (1 RIR 3 Orps) The RIR was around 6 pounds dressed and all the Orps were over 7. The were done at around 6 months.
My 4 orp hens give me 2-4 eggs daily. Now these are Pullets, but getting 16-24 eggs a week seems pretty good.
As far as feed conversion, I have a total of 25 birds (5 roos) and am going through about 10 pounds of feed daily.
