Long story short, I'm incubating 18 eggs, and currently on day 14. 8 of the eggs came from my girls so I'm certain of when they were laid and they appear to be right on track when candles.

Of the remaining, which I got from a local breeder, only one appears to be on day 14 as well. The others are further along, much further along it seems.

5 of then look to be about at day 18 +, and 4 at what looks to be day 16.

So here's my questing. Should I go ahead and remove the egg turner now? If so do I still need to turn those that are still at day 14?

Also what about humidity? Is it safe to initiate lockdown at this point for the ones that are still on day 14 to 16?

Up until now I've been running the incubator on the dry side with humidity in the low to mid 40s.

Any help and advice wild be greatly appreciated

Where did the eggs come from ? Local or hatched ? Its very odd they would be further along unless they were sit on before you got them. You can stop turning after day 14 if needed but I would not up humidity til you see/hear an internal pip.
And I see where you say a local breeder. So its possible they are further along .

Are you counting the days from when they were laid or when you put them in the incubator? I ask because you say that you know what day they were laid for your eggs so that's how you know they're on track, but the date they were laid doesn't matter, what matters is when they went into the incubator.

Is it possible the local breeder accidentally gave you eggs that their hens were sitting on, so they had already been developing for a few days before you added them to the incubator?

Is there any chance you can post some candling pictures?

I think i noticed my eggs developed at a different rate depending on where they were in my incubator. Mine is a still air i made it myself. I’m going to move the eggs around next time instead of turning them in one place. What kind of incubator are you using?

I'm actually counting the days incubating and I counted the first day as day ZERO. So they have been in there a full 14 days.

And yes, she did indeed give me eggs that were being sat on. But she told me only that day and it shouldn't matter. Only one of the dozen I got from here looks like that is the case, the others look way further!

I tried to get pictures last night but the ones I think are father asking are really just dark blobs lol. I can see movement but only minimal veins if any because the egg is so full of chick, and good size air sacks.

@TexasSam I'm using a nurture right 360. It turns 360° over a period of several hours. And I still altered the eggs positions from the inner circle to outer circle when I candle them just to be certain.
The temp has been consistently 99.5.

Here is a picture of where the air sacs are now and where I've watched then at day 5 and 10.

@Pyxis okay, I was able to get some photos for you.

First one is the Orpington egg I think is much farther along

And here is the air sac tracing just now

Next is an Ameraucana that I think is about the same as the first egg, although it is much harder to see with the blue shell

Next is another ameraucana that looks a few days behind those

And finally, this is one of my girls' egg and what they look like

Every one of these I could see good movement in, except the one ameraucana. I could still see movement, just not as easily

So, with these photos, what are you thinking? What would you do about humidity and turning? It is three end of day 15 now on the incubator. 99.5 ° and 50% humidity

Those do look more advanced, for sure. Looks like maybe they're at day 17 or so. I would maybe stop turning those particular ones tomorrow, but keep the humidity the same. Candle them regularly and when you see an internal pip, boost the humidity.
