Need advice

I was expecting day 28 not day 23 haha. Wee one is determined it’s coming out either today or next day or so. The rest are like yeah not ready yet.
I had that happen to a friend when she hatched her last ducks. Candled on day 23 and saw internal pips. Used a NR360 and are pretty certain the temp is accurate, but definitely not off enough to cause them to hatch so many days early. Guessing some are just early guys.

Didn’t even realise he or she pipped internally. As candling couldn’t see much last night so just assumed it’s the position they put themselves. I’ve got humidity thing inside it as well at that’s sitting right
What kind of ducks are they?
Cayuga, Saxony and Swedish mix. All mixed breeds so not sure which is which just yet. I do have one blackish looking egg so assuming that’s Cayuga. There’s another egg that’s pipped externally now.

Oh wow so yeah not ones that typically have a shorter hatch. Ducks do take a notoriously long time for hatching though. Like 24 hrs after internally to externally and another 24 (-48?) to zip/hatch. So exciting

They’ve both internal and external hatch. So hoping by tomorrow they’ll be fully out. Can see their wee beaks now.

If one duckling has pipped (even internally) it is time to stop turning all the eggs. I make sure my humidity is above 60 for hatch. Double check your temp with another thermometer. The one in the incubator might be reading a hair low (making it a bit warmer than it should be)

I’ve took the turned out. The thermometer I’ve got in it reads different to that on the incubator. Bought it for that reason as before kept losing eggs due to the incubator not being right.
