Need advice

If one duckling has pipped (even internally) it is time to stop turning all the eggs. I make sure my humidity is above 60 for hatch. Double check your temp with another thermometer. The one in the incubator might be reading a hair low (making it a bit warmer than it should be)
Is there a way to bring humidity down. Mine has risen to 85 for some reason.

As eggs hatch more moisture is added so humidity goes up. Are you able to reduce the surface area of the water? Different incubators are going to work differently. Are your vents all open?

There’s no vents in my incubator. I’ve reduced the water. Emptied the whole lot and put a little drop in but still sitting at 85. Don’t know if my hydrometer is broken.

One of them has started to come fully out but noticed quite a bit of blood so shouldn’t be trying to emerge fully. So basically shoved it back in the egg a bit and wrapped warm wet paper towel around. No blood veins anywhere else except the bottom.

Dont wrap them in wet paper towels, this risks chilling the duckling.
Did you assist the hatch, or did it cause the bleed itself?
Whats happening now?

It was warm paper towels as I read you’re meant to. But both are out and doing absolutely fantastic. I saw the external pips made a little hole so they can breath and just let them out themselves. And both doing great.

Other ones have all pipped internal and externally except one egg. But on of them as pipped at the bottom end so made a wee hole so he or she could breath but can’t assist due to the bloody vessels still being there and don’t know how else to help.

There's mixed advice on paper towels, but generally its best not to put anything wet in contact with the egg or duckling, if they must be propped up, they can be cushioned with dry paper towels in a little cup.

you probably did the right thing, and that's all that you can do for now. Baby has air to breathe so is fine for now. Often they are able to complete hatch even if they pipped the wrong end. Sounds like you're doing a good job! Congrats on your hatchers!!

I done it to stop the bleeding. Only reason I done it for 2 of them.

The one that’s coming out the wrong end I’m not sure how to help as can’t assist due to blood vessels just managed to make a hole so he or she could breath but the membrane is turning brown.

2 hatched yesterday which far too early as that’s day 24. But they’re doing absolutely fantastic. 3 have external pipped other 1 is starting to internally pip. Last one I hear absolutely nothing nor can I see anything but I know there was life the other day. So not sure what’s happening with that one.

Brush a tiny drop of coconut oil on the exposed dry membrane, that'll help keep it moist. Depending on how much membrane is exposed, you may have to do this every 1-2 hours.
That's all you can really do for now, as you say, there are too many veins to assist further.
Wow day 24... Do you have a calibrated thermometer? Your temp could be a bit high. What breed did you say they were? Calls can hatch as early as day 26, but generally most others take 28- as you know. If the temp is a bit too high, they will develop faster.

I'm glad they're doing okay though!

And ohh that makes more sense- still, dry paper towels are best for bleeding, as you want to bleed to dry up.
