Need advice

Brush a tiny drop of coconut oil on the exposed dry membrane, that'll help keep it moist. Depending on how much membrane is exposed, you may have to do this every 1-2 hours.
That's all you can really do for now, as you say, there are too many veins to assist further.
Wow day 24... Do you have a calibrated thermometer? Your temp could be a bit high. What breed did you say they were? Calls can hatch as early as day 26, but generally most others take 28- as you know. If the temp is a bit too high, they will develop faster.

I'm glad they're doing okay though!

And ohh that makes more sense- still, dry paper towels are best for bleeding, as you want to bleed to dry up.
They’re a Cayuga, Saxony and Swedish mix. Both hatched on day 24. Both made an appearance on day 23. Now the other 3 have made an appearance so I’m expecting them next day or so.

Think I have coconut oil somewhere.

From what I know the temp was fine humidity was also fine. But yesterday humidity raised quite high for some reason but it’s back to normal. Had the hydrometer in the incubator from day 1.

It’s only a little bit of the membrane that’s exposed as I was going to assist but when I saw the blood veins thought better not the now. Main thing is they can all breath so won’t have to worry about any suffocating.

Thanks for the advice.

Both healthy as can be. Both now in cage with heat lamp as too big to be left in incubator trampling over the other eggs

Is your thermometer calibrated? Incubators usually read incorrectly, mine is 1.5 degrees off!
A separate thermomter, calibrated, is a valuable tool in hatching-
since they hatched so early I think it's likely the temp was a bit off- they can still hatch healthy most the time if its a small temp difference- but high temp causes a faster incubation, low temp caused a slower one.

Keep us updated! Would love to see photos of the babies once they're all fluffed up! :D

Not sure what you mean? Was hard to tell with mine as on the incubator having it at 37.5 degrees wasn’t matching the one in hydrometer so raised the one on incubator so it would read 37.5 on the hydrometer. Could have been a higher temperature and I’ve not noticed. Wasn’t prepared for them to be this early.

I have posted pictures on the forum.

Perhaps the hygrometer's one was less accurate- calibrating them is basically a test to see how accurate a thermometer is-
so you would take 50% ice and 50% water, then let the ice sit for an amount of time in the water so that it starts to melt- then you would put the therometer probe into the ice water-it should read 0, if it reads, say 1.5 degrees, you would know it is 1.5 too high, and adjust the temperature accordingly. So 37.5 + 1.5, So that therometer should read 39 degrees
I *think* this is the correct way to do it.
Just something to note for next time! It's a common mistake- I didn't calibrate either, it was near hatch that I realised I was supposed to

Ahh I see. Thanks for that. Don’t think I’ll be hatching any more as these ones are for keeps. But if it does happen then I’ll know for next time.

I love the names!!
Ooh! Whats your tiktok name? I'd love to see vids of them!
Taryn Merritt. Haven’t got much of Sawyer as she was pretty late on being born yesterday compared to Jacaranda. Got his name from Encanto when I heard the song What else can I do. And loved the name. All names are picked out already but until they’re out I don’t want to jinx it. Jacaranda is pronounced like Hacaranda lol
