Need all the tricks for heat

My approach has been to hose off the top of the coops (evaporation cooling) and provide LOTS of shade. They've been pretty hot out there, but no losses from over heating.

Fans, lots of ventilation, ice cubes in their water, if the coop or run have a dirt floor wet down a section. I mix a batch of Hydro Hen and poor it into ice trays with some berries and freeze it. Then dump out the cubes in a shallow tray. Or float them in their waterer. We have been between 97-105 for the past few weeks. 🥵

Something I started doing recently when it's hot is I take the plastic trays from my old wire dog kennels and fill them with about 1/4"-1/2 " cool water. My chickens love to stand in them to cool off.
