Hello needing your help with babies about to be hatched. I have 22 eggs in the incubator and a broody hen with 3 eggs under her. They are all due to hatch in about 10 days. I am worried about the heat. I have a place in my laundry room for the babies in the incubator and a coopdominium in my run for momma and her babies. My laundry room does not have AC. My question is because we have temperatures in the 90s this time of year, North East TX, do I keep the incubated babies inside when they hatch or do I put them in the laundry room coop after they hatch? Also with temps being this high what can I do for my hen and her 3 babies when they hatch. Babies are so fragile and I know the heat can kill them. If I put the incubated babies in the laundry room I can put bottles of frozen water in front of a fan to keep it a bit cooler for them. As well as for my broody momma and her babies or do I need to do that? I can also just keep incubated babies in the house and use a heat lamp. If I keep them in the house how do I get them outside once they no longer need a heat lamp and the temp inside is 73-74 to 90s + outside. Please advise what would you do? How would you do this? Some pictures of the red coopdominium and the Laundry room coop. TIA.
