Trader joe's has almond flour.. it's only a pound or two in the package though. Betty do you make a lot of things with it? Is it swappable with other flours?

I am still working my way through a stash of almond flour I bought from Trade Joe's when I was vacationing in New Mexico. TJ is the cheapest place for almond flour I have ever found. It was $3.69/lb when I bought it last year. Yes, I am still using it a year later...I just store it in the freezer.

Yes I do make a lot of things with it but no it's not really swappable cup for cup with AP flour.

I use it in a lot of my baked goods because I'm diabetic and I use it to cut my carbs. I don't replace all the flour with almond flour but a good portion.

This is the only recipe I have that I use all almond flour.

Almond Flour Muffins

3 cups of almond flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup Splenda
1/2 cup of yogurt (can sub sour cream)
3 eggs
1-tablespoon vanilla

1/4 cup melted butter (if necessary)

Mix ingredients together, if batter is too thick add butter as needed to thin to muffin consistency. Add nuts or fruit if desired.

Put batter in paper lined muffin tins and bake 375° for 17 minutes or until toothpick inserted in muffin comes out clean.
