Need chemical help! Got LICE!

I've not had any luck killing lice with ivermectin or frontline since these products are absorbed into the bloodstream and the insect is killed when it feeds. I'm not sure if any types of lice are blood feeders, but a lot of them are not so they are not killed by these products.
